Iteris was responsible for the development of the 2014 World Cup portal, an official Brazilian government instrument for publishing news, work progress, information on host cities, transparency regarding investments, among other objectives. Since its conception, our company was involved to design the technical architecture of the site and later developed the functionalities planned together with the FSB partner, who took care of the visual identity and information architecture.
The first version of the portal was a success and, in May 2013, the second version was launched with a more attractive layout and several new features to increase the interactivity of the site, bringing it closer to the audience in love with soccer. For instance, a match simulator for the Confederations Cup, a quiz to test the visitor's knowledge about the venues and other aspects of the Confederations Cup, among others.
Due to the excellent performance and practicality of the site, this has become one of the main communication channels of the government, enabling and facilitating the daily posting of heavy content, such as high quality videos, dozens of news a day, constant updating of images, news and Highlights of the World Cup and infrastructure works. By developing an easy-to-use website and creating a portal with numerous content storage frameworks, Iteris met the customer's expectations by achieving the proposed goals.
